Dialogue Discussion Forum

As a result of the Telecom Separation Undertakings, Telecom business units (Telecom Wholesale and Chorus) have obligations to consult with the industry on a variety of issues related to the migration to an all-NGN world. 
There are three broad streams of work relating to this: IP interconnection, IT and Processes, and Products. To meet its obligations, Telecom implemented the Dialogue programme to consult on issues relating to operational and technical developments for the next generation network (NGN).

Dialogue is run in conjunction with the TCF to ensure that the various consultation requirements can be effectively coordinated between the various Telecom business units and the broader industry.

IT & Processes and Products – discussion forums

The TCF is working with Telecom to hold discussion forums covering topics relating to IT & Processes, and Products. These are scheduled to take place over the next nine months.
