  • Stewart Sherriff 2degrees Mobile, Tier 1 Representative

    Originally from Dunfermline, Scotland, Stewart has more than 30 years mobile industry experience which has seen him work in 20 different countries across six continents. Starting out as an apprentice technician for British Telecom, Stewart held a range of technology-based and then senior roles in some demanding mobile companies including Slovenia, Croatia, Georgia, the US and UK, Iceland, Latvia, Saudi Arabia, Australia and Russia.

    Stewart was appointed CEO of 2degrees in August 2013. Prior to taking on the role as CEO, Stewart was Chairman of the 2degrees board for four years and Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer at Trilogy International Partners, 2degrees’ majority shareholder.
  • Kate McKenzie Chorus, Tier 1 Representative

    Appointed as CEO of Chorus in February 2017, Kate McKenzie brings her extensive communications infrastructure and leadership experience to Chorus’ top job.

    Before becoming Chorus’ Chief Executive, Kate was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Telstra, Australia’s largest telecommunications company. She joined Telstra in 2004 holding a range of senior executive roles in strategy, marketing, products, regulatory and wholesale.

    Kate joined the TCF Board in April 2017.

  • Simon Moutter Spark New Zealand, Tier 1 Representative

    Simon Moutter returned to Telecom (now Spark) in August 2012 as Managing Director. In this role, he is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the company that provides mobile, broadband and IT services to more than two million New Zealanders every day, as well as in Australia.

    Simon spent nearly 15 years in the energy sector where he worked in various senior roles, including CEO of Powerco Ltd and Station Manager at the New Plymouth Power Station. He ran his own engineering consultancy and contracting company before joining Telecom as General Manager of Network Delivery in 1999. After 9 years, including several as Chief Operating Officer, Simon left in 2008 to be CEO of Auckland International Airport before returning to Telecom in 2012.
  • Jason Paris Vodafone, Tier 1 Representative

    Jason is the CEO of Vodafone New Zealand and joined Vodafone Group in April 2018 from Spark New Zealand where he was Chief Executive Officer of Home, Mobile and Business.

    Prior to his time at Spark, Jason held senior executive roles in Europe and New Zealand across the technology, media and retail industries.
  • Mark Callander Vocus Communications, Tier 2 Representative

    Mark has over 15 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry. He began his career with Telecom before joining CallPlus. As CEO of CallPlus, he has been a key driver behind the growth and success of the company. Under Mark’s leadership, CallPlus developed a strong leadership position in the industry and has been widely recognised as the ‘consumer champion’, driving change in the New Zealand regulatory and competitive landscape.

    After it’s sale to the M2 Group in 2015, Mark has continued to lead CallPlus New Zealand and has joined the executive team in Australia.

    Mark holds a Bachelor of Management Studies from the University of Waikato and completed Leadership for Senior Executives with Harvard Business School.
  • Vince Hawksworth Trustpower, Tier 3 Representative

    Vince Hawksworth joined Trustpower in 2010. Originally from the UK where he worked for British Coal, Vince moved to New Zealand with his family in 1993. Vince was Production Manager at Huntly Power Station before roles as General Manager Generation and General Manager Retail with Genesis Energy.

    Prior to joining Trustpower Vince was appointed CEO for Hydro Tasmania in 2006. Vince studied mining engineering at Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham, UK and has an MBA from Waikato University. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and a member of the Institute of Directors
