The scope of the original Non-Regulated Customer Transfer Code has been reviewed to create the Non-regulated Customer Transfer Code for Fibre.

The scope of the original Non-Regulated Customer Transfer Code has been reviewed to create the Non-regulated Customer Transfer Code for Fibre, following the roll out of UFB, which requires a different process to copper services.

The purpose of the code is to improve the experience of customers by implementing a process which all Retail Service Providers (RSPs) and Local Fibre Company (LFCs) must follow when transferring a fibre
telecommunications service.

This new transfer process for fibre requires the LFCs to make changes to their B2B and portals. It is expected that these changes will be implemented within the next 12 months and once available any RSP who has
signed a UFB wholesale service agreement with an LFC will be obligated to follow the code's process.
