A framework to facilitate co-siting of telecommunications equipment by service providers

What it is

The Co-Siting Code provides a framework and process to be followed in the event that a co-siting party wishes to co-site telecommunications equipment.

Purpose

To optimise industry use of valuable sites for telecommunications equipment, maximising the coverage of networks with a flow-on effect of reducing costs to telecommunications providers.

Who it applies to

Parties looking to install, modify, replace or operate equipment on or about a Co-Site.

Who it affects

  • Landlords
  • Parties with pre-existing rights to construct, install and operate radio communications equipment at a site.
