The New Zealand Telecommunications Forum (TCF) has launched a new website which has a stronger consumer focus.
“Our new site, www.tcf.org.nz, has been designed with consumers in mind. It’s easy to use and includes up-to-date information and educational material about telecommunications services that New Zealanders can trust to be impartial” says TCF CEO Geoff Thorn.
“There is plenty of telco information readily available to consumers from a number of sources. However, the TCF does not recommend one service provider over another. Alongside representing the industry collectively, we offer a neutral source of information for kiwi consumers. The site tries to unpick some of the complexity of modern communications. New Zealanders have access to world class networks, but as faster and better services become available, the technology becomes more complex for consumers.”
The refreshed TCF website contains industry codes and other industry-related information as before, which is clearly separated from neutral, consumer-focussed information. It has been designed to serve the needs of the industry as well as consumers
