Vulnerable Consumer Code

What it is

• This Code sets out the minimum requirements RSPs and Network Operators must adhere to when providing or repairing Fixed Line Telecommunication Services to a Registered Vulnerable Consumer

Purpose

• The purpose of this Code is to ensure that consumers who have registered with their RSP because they are dependent on Fixed Line Telecommunication Services for reasons of health, safety or disability are given the additional support in the provision, maintenance, and repair of essential fixed-line services

• Registered Vulnerable Consumers of residential Fixed Line Telecommunications Services
